LFG List Privacy Policy

Information LFG List Accesses

When you create an account or sign in, LFG List may access:

• Your account email address.
• Your display name and profile image if provided by your sign-in provider.
• Authentication identifiers from Firebase Authentication.

LFG List stores project data in its application backend. Project data may include project names, item titles, descriptions, assignees, labels, comments, activity history, embedded images or files, project member information, and related metadata.

When you request an authentication email or contact support, LFG List temporarily stores a normalized email address and, where applicable, your network address to prevent abuse and enforce request limits. Support messages include the reply email, category, subject, and message you submit and are delivered to LFG List through its email provider.

How LFG List Uses Information

LFG List uses information only to provide app functionality:

• Sign you in and identify you inside projects.
• Create, read, update, archive, and delete project and item data.
• Manage project membership and invites.
• Show comments, activity, assignees, labels, statuses, and preferences.
• Cache lightweight session and preference data in your browser.
• Respond to support requests and prevent misuse of public forms.

LFG List does not sell user data. LFG List does not use user data for advertising.

Where Data Is Stored

Project and item data is stored by the LFG List backend. Embedded images and attached files may be stored in application file storage. Authentication is handled by Firebase Authentication. Static app assets are hosted through Firebase Hosting.

The app may store the following in your browser:

• A local sign-in preference in localStorage, used to remember that you previously signed in.
• Lightweight cached session and preference data in IndexedDB.
• The browser's normal service worker and static asset cache for PWA support.

Sharing and Disclosure

Project data is shared with users who are members of the same project according to project membership and role settings.

LFG List may disclose information if required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, or security of users or the app.

Third-Party Services

LFG List uses third-party services for authentication, hosting, backend API hosting, database storage, file storage, email delivery, subscription management, and payment processing. These may include Firebase services, Google Cloud services, MongoDB services, Resend, RevenueCat, Paddle, Google Play, and other infrastructure providers. If Google sign-in is used, LFG List receives basic Google profile information through Firebase Authentication.

When you purchase or manage LFG Pro, LFG List may receive subscription status, product, transaction, platform, and customer identifiers from RevenueCat and the applicable payment provider. LFG List does not receive or store your complete payment-card details. Web purchases are sold and processed by Paddle as merchant of record; Android purchases are processed by Google Play.

User Control and Data Deletion

You can control project data through LFG List:

• Delete or archive projects where the app permits it.
• Leave projects where you are not the owner.
• Ask a project owner to remove you from a project.
• Clear local browser data through your browser settings.

Security

LFG List uses authentication and project membership rules to protect project data. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure. LFG List cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's Privacy

LFG List is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through LFG List, contact privacy@lfglist.com.

Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. The effective date will be updated when material changes are made.
